2022 has been a remarkable year for new laws in the court reporting industry.  This seminar will update you on the rollout of firm registration, as well as the new title protections that are now law!
We will also discuss essential codes and rules to help you address challenges or queries that may come up during a proceeding.  CalDRA legislative chairs Mary Pierce and Cheryl Haab, along with esteemed Southern California firm owner Evelyn Mah, of Abrams, Mah & Kahn, will point to applicable sections of both the Code of Civil Procedure and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure that govern key protocol in depositions.  Our panelists will provide pointers on educating lawyers regarding the breadth of our responsibilities in capturing the record, as well as update you on new rules and regulations that pertain to remotely held proceedings.
